Urine
A urinalysis is one of the basic laboratory tests that are performed both as a preventive measure and for the diagnosis of many diseases. Patients are most often referred to a general urine test, but other tests are also applicable, e.g. urine culture or the determination of specific substances in daily urine collections.

Cocaine in urine quantitatively
Quantitative testing of urine cocaine levels is useful in suspected use of the drug cocaine, an alkaloid derived from the leaves of the coca bush.

Glucose in urine excretion
This test involves measuring the concentration of glucose in a 24-hour urine collectionóle to determine the average level of excretion of this sugar by the kidneys. As already mentioned, glucose is not present in ogóle urine under normal conditions.

Chlorides in urine
The test consists of determining the concentration of chlorideós, or chlorine-containing chemical compounds, in urine and is performed in patientsówith suspected water-electrolyte and acid-base imbalances in the body, and in monitoring their treatment.

Uric acid excretion
Uric acid is a chemical thatóra formed when the body breaks down purines - compounds thatóre likely to come from food or be synthesized in the body. The test is mainly performedów to diagnose gout and kidney stones.

Total porphyrins
The test detects compoundsócalled porphyrins in a 24-hour urine collection to diagnose porphyria, a group of inherited disorders thatóre involving, among other things, a disruption in the metabolism of heme, a component of the protein that enables oxygen transport in red blood cells.

Coproporphyrins in urine
The test detects compounds called coproporphyrins in urine to diagnose porphyria, a group of hereditary disorders thatóre involving, among other things, a disturbance in the metabolism of heme, a component of the protein that enables oxygen transport in red blood cells.

Addis count
Determination of Addis number is a test performed on the basis of a prób obtained from a daily urine collection, whichóinvolves determining the amount of certainóblood morphotic elementsóand protein structures known as rollers excreted by the kidneys in a day.

Streptococcus pneumoniae antigen
The test detects antigens of Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria thatóre likely to cause pneumonia.

Free lambda light chains in urine
Lambda light chainófree lambda testing measures the level of a certain type of protein produced by plasma cellsórs and is used in the diagnosis of gammopathies and lymphoproliferative diseases.

Lambda light chains in urine quantitatively
Lambda light chain testing involves measuring the levels of selected proteins, known as lambda light chains, free and linked to heavy chains
