Adrianna Kierzkowska, MA

I am a certified child psychologist and diagnostician. I have a background in psychology, specializing in clinical psychology, completed at the SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Sopot, and postgraduate studies in psychological diagnosis in clinical practice completed at the same university. I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy for children and adolescents with elements of the third wave.

For many years, I have been improving my skills by gaining experience in educational and therapeutic institutions, where I was responsible for conducting individual and group therapy for children with developmental difficulties (including autism spectrum disorder). I dealt with psychoeducation of parents/legal guardians and supported the teaching staff in activities for the benefit of young people.

Currently, for several years, I have also been working at the Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center in Bydgoszcz. I diagnose, prepare and issue opinions and judgments regarding the education of young people, and I also provide families with advice on educating their children.

When working with children and adolescents and their caregivers, my priority is to create a therapeutic relationship based on authenticity, trust and a sense of security. I adapt therapeutic methods and techniques individually to the child's needs.
