Beata Orawiec, MD, PhD
Dr Beata Orawiec specialises in paediatric ophthalmology. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Łódź. She performs comprehensive eye examinations and treats eye diseases and visual impairments in both children and adults, including newborns, infants, and premature babies. She has extensive professional experience gained while working at the Paediatric Ophthalmology Department at ICZMP, the Paediatric Ophthalmology Clinic of the Medical University of Łódź, and as an Assistant and Lecturer at the Medical University of Łódź. Dr Orawiec completed numerous courses in paediatric ophthalmology, retinal diseases, strabismus, glaucoma, and diagnostic eye tests: USG, USG CD, OCT. In 2009, she completed a clinical internship in paediatric ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Alberta Edmonton, Canada. She is the author of scientific publications on eye diseases in children, including retinopathy of prematurity, ocular tumours, diabetic complications and other metabolic diseases, and the use of modern imaging diagnostics in paediatric ophthalmology.
