CINTEC PLUS P16/KI67 + HPV14

The HPV and CINtec Plus test enables the detection of neoplastic changes at the cellular stage, which are in the very early stages of development. This allows for the localization of cells where the normal cycle has been disrupted due to infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV).

HPV and CINtec Plus Test

The HPV and CINtec Plus test allows for the detection of neoplastic changes at the cellular level, even at very early stages of development. This enables the identification of cells where the normal cycle has been disrupted due to infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV).

The test package includes:

  • CINtec Plus p16/Ki67: This test is performed to enhance the diagnosis of pre-cancerous changes and cervical cancer.
  • HPV14: Identification of 14 genotypes of the HPV virus (Human Papillomavirus).

The HPV14 test simultaneously detects and genotypes 28 different high-risk HPV genotypes associated with cervical cancer development. The tested HPV genotypes include 19 high-risk types: 16, 18, 26, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 69, 73, 82.

Purpose of the test:

  • Identification of early biomarkers of neoplasia – p16 and Ki-67 proteins.
  • Detection of HPV genetic material in the patient’s body and determination of the genotype of the identified virus.

Method:

  • Immunocytochemistry + Real-Time PCR.

Note: The sample for the test must be collected by a gynecologist or midwife.
