CINTEC PLUS P16/KI67 + HPV28

The HPV and CINtec Plus test enables the detection of neoplastic changes at the cellular stage, which are in the very early stages of development. This allows for the localization of cells where the normal cycle has been disrupted due to infection by high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV).

The HPV and CINtec Plus Test allows for the detection of neoplastic changes at the cellular stage, which are in the very early stages of development. This enables the localization of cells where the normal cycle has been disrupted due to infection by high-risk human papillomavirus. The test package consists of:

  • CINtec Plus p16/Ki67 – a test performed to enhance diagnostics for precancerous changes and cervical cancer;
  • HPV14 – identification of 14 HPV genotypes (Human Papillomavirus). Simultaneous detection and genotyping of 14 different high-risk HPV genotypes associated with cervical cancer. The tested HPV genotypes are 19 high-risk types (16, 18, 26, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 69, 73, 82).

Objective of the Test:

  • Identification of early cancer biomarkers: p16 and Ki-67 proteins;
  • Identification of HPV genetic material: determining the genotype of the identified virus in the patient's body.

Method:

  • Immunocytochemistry + Real-Time PCR.

Note: The sample for the test must be collected by a gynecologist or midwife.
