The F47 garlic test is a blood allergy test
Garlic allergy testing refers to the allergen Allium.
The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is
performed when an allergy to garlic is suspected. The advantage of
of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines.
The test is performed in case of suspected allergy to garlic
antihistamines.
Blood allergen testing is also used for
qualification for desensitization of garlic allergy. It is recommended
also for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under 4
years of age.
