It is usually necessary to undergo several treatments to get the desired results. For this reason, a package of 5 sessions is a great way to save money and schedule treatments accordingly. 

Depending on the individual's pain threshold and area of application, the patient may experience pain or discomfort (a feeling of pressure, tingling) during the treatment. In general, however, the therapy is well tolerated, and any pain subsides soon after the session. 

Contraindications to shock wave therapy include pregnancy, blood clotting disorders, cancer, active infections in the treatment area. Shockwave is not recommended near the head, spine, ribs and lymph nodes.

You can use the package after 3 business days from the date of payment. The package is valid for 6 months after purchase. 

The treatment should not be performed more than 1-2 times a week. A two-day interval must be maintained between sessions (so treatments can be performed on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday, for example).

Shockwave should not be combined (performed on the same day) with ultrasound and laser treatments, unless for other areas of the body.

Shockwave therapy requires no special preparation. It is advisable only to put on comfortable clothing, providing easy access to the treated area. The area should be clean, and no lotions or oils should be applied to it.
