Ferri-Check® is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test for assessing ferritin levels in the blood. Ferritin is a protein that stores iron in cells. The test can be used for screening potential iron deficiency (anemia).
The Ferri-Check® test is recommended in cases of symptoms such as paleness, fatigue, headaches, rapid heartbeat, or shortness of breath during exercise—especially during pregnancy or in individuals with heavy menstrual periods. Iron deficiency anemia is common in children and women of all ages, particularly in menstruating women, with at least 20% experiencing iron deficiency.
