Product description

The Healthy Man: Oncological package is a comprehensive set of tests useful for cancer diagnostics, treatment monitoring, and detecting disease recurrence. Cancers develop due to uncontrolled cell division, which results from mutations in genetic material. During their metabolism, the body releases specific substances – tumor markers, which can indicate abnormalities. The package includes tests for markers characteristic of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in men, including colorectal, bladder, prostate, testicular, and lung cancer.

What does the package include?

Complete blood count (6diff.) – provides full information about the body's condition, mineral levels, and blood components, which is important for the prevention of precancerous conditions.
Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) – indicates chronic inflammation, infections, and the presence of abnormal proteins that may accompany cancer.
D-dimers – essential in diagnosing clotting disorders that may be associated with cancer.
C-reactive protein (CRP) – used in diagnosing inflammatory conditions that may be related to cancer processes.
Total PSA (TPSA) – an important marker in diagnosing prostate diseases, including cancer, though its increase is not solely indicative of malignancy.
Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) – considered a significant prognostic marker for colorectal cancer.
Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) – important for diagnosing germ cell tumors of the testes and hepatocellular carcinoma.
CA 19-9 marker – useful in detecting pancreatic cancer and monitoring its course; its increase is also observed in colorectal cancer.
Human chorionic gonadotropin + beta subunit (hCG + β-HCG) – used in the early diagnosis of testicular cancer.
Fecal occult blood test – a screening test useful for detecting colorectal cancer.

Due to the complexity of the tests and their interrelated results, it is recommended to consult a doctor for proper interpretation.

When should you consider this package?
