The Extended Liver Package is a comprehensive set of tests that provide a complete assessment of liver health and factors affecting its proper function.

What does the package include?

• Total HBc antibodies, HCV antibodies – tests to detect the presence of hepatotropic virus infections, which can lead to liver damage.
• ALT, AST, GGTP, ALP – enzymes that evaluate liver and bile duct function.
• Albumin – a protein synthesized in the liver, whose levels may indicate inflammation and overall liver health.
• Total, free, and conjugated bilirubin – indicators of red blood cell metabolism and potential disorders in processing their metabolites by the liver.

When should you take these tests?

• For preventive care – regularly (at least once every two years), especially if you have risk factors such as alcohol overuse, obesity, diabetes, or prolonged use of certain medications.
• If you experience symptoms that may indicate liver dysfunction, such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, chronic fatigue, jaundice, dark urine, or pale stool.
• To monitor liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and other conditions requiring treatment effectiveness assessment.

Tested Material:
The tested material is serum from blood.

Preparation for the Test:
The blood sample should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 10-12 hours after the last meal, in the morning between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM.

Test results are available within 3 business days on the website. They can also be collected in person at the ClinicLab Collection Point at Ogrodowa 31 Street in Warsaw.
