ECG Holter – 24 hours
An ECG Holter system helps to assess the electric function of the heart by registering the echocardiogram during a 24-hour cycle of the patient’s activity in everyday conditions.

The test starts with a nurse sticking 3 electrodes on the patient’s chest, connected to the registering unit. The device is worn by the patient for 24 hours and is removed on the following day at the same time.
The test result is available once it has been described by a physician.
An ECG Holter system is used for monitoring:
- certain congenital defects;
- cardiac arrhythmias;
- fainting and loss of consciousness of cardiac origin;
- coronary heart disease;
- post-infarction state;
- assessment of the hearth rhythm after pacemaker implantation.
You must arrive no later than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
