Joanna Niemunis-Sawicka, MD

Radiologist Joanna Niemunis-Sawicka specializes in: ultrasound of the knee joint, ultrasound of the shoulder joint, ultrasound of the ankle joint, ultrasound of the wrist joint, ultrasound of the elbow joint. Her special interests include the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders, in which she uses all available imaging methods. For many years, she has performed invasive arthrographic examinations of joints using CT and MR imaging. In his ultrasound practice, he performs minor therapeutic procedures in addition to diagnostics. She is a member of several scientific societies including PLTR, PTU, European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the Section of Imaging Diagnostics of the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, among others. For many years, Dr. Joanna Niemunis-Sawicka has also been involved in didactic activities educating specialists, both radiologists and orthopedists in the field of diagnostic imaging.
