Lipid package Expanded

This is an advanced preventive test package that provides a detailed analysis of fat metabolism in the body. Proper lipid levels in the blood are essential for heart and circulatory system health.

The package includes a comprehensive assessment of lipid metabolism and its connections with other metabolic processes. In addition to a lipid profile, which provides information on cholesterol and triglyceride levels, we have also included:

• Carbohydrate metabolism tests (glucose, insulin, HbA1c) – as impaired sugar metabolism affects lipid levels, particularly triglycerides.
• Viral infection tests (total HBc antibodies, HCV antibodies) – hepatitis B and C viruses can impact liver function and thus cholesterol synthesis.
• Vitamin D level measurement (25(OH)D3 total) – vitamin D deficiency may be associated with liver disease and influence lipid metabolism.

When should you take this test package?

• If you smoke, lead a sedentary lifestyle, follow an unhealthy diet, or are exposed to stress, as these factors increase the risk of lipid disorders.
• If there is a family history of cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias) or metabolic disorders (obesity, diabetes), which may increase your risk of health issues.

• Complete blood count (CBC) with full leukocyte differentiation (6-part differential)
• Glucose
• C-reactive protein (CRP)
• Vitamin 25(OH)D3 total
• Lipid profile (CHOL, HDL, non-HDL, LDL, TG)
• Insulin
• Glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)
• Anti-HBc antibodies (total)
• Anti-HCV antibodies

Tested Material:
The tested material is serum from blood.

Preparation for the Test:
The blood sample should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 10-12 hours after the last meal, in the morning between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM.

Test results are available within 3 business days on the website. They can also be collected in person at the ClinicLab Collection Point at Ogrodowa 31 Street in Warsaw.
