MSc Malgorzata Tomaszczyk

MSc Malgorzata Tomaszczyk specializes in the therapy of newborns, infants, and children up to 3 years old. 

In her work, she mainly uses the NDT - Bobath concept, which has a beneficial effect on normalizing muscle tone, inhibiting abnormal reflexes, and triggering those closest to normal. She also conducts friendly therapy for premature babies, children with umbilical hernia, torticollis, and children with genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome.
In therapy with a young patient, she uses three-plane manual foot defect therapy, which is based on the functional development of the lower limb in the first year of life, diagnosis, and assessment of motor development through the use of special diagnostic grips.

She approaches each little patient individually, adapting the pace, type, and rhythm of exercises. As a therapist, the key aspect for her is cooperation with the parent, so she always tries to provide instructions and exercises that the parent can safely perform at home for better therapy results. During therapy, she takes into account all factors, appropriately adjusting the best solutions for the child, and also uses elements of osteopathic techniques and flexible taping.

She continuously improves her qualifications by participating in courses and trainings in pediatric rehabilitation.

The specialist deals with:

• problems with muscle tension distribution (reduced/increased tension)
• foot defects (clubfoot, flat feet, adducted, calcaneal)
• delayed motor development
