Testing the level of antibodies to acetylcholine receptors
(AR-AB) in the blood.
Determination of antibodies against ARAB receptors
is used in the diagnosis and differentiation of myasthenia gravis.
Myasthenia gravis
Masthenia is an acquired autoimmune disease
autoimmune disease characterized by the presence of autoantibodies
against neuromuscular junction proteins - the receptor for
acetylcholine and receptor tyrosine kinase specific to the
muscle.
Symptoms of myasthenia gravis
- double vision,
- falling eyelids,
- disturbance of eye movements,
- disturbance of eye movements
- quiet speech with nasal epiglottis,
- difficulty chewing and swallowing,
- sad facial expression,

Physical difficulties with myasthenia gravis
