What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is a method of permanently removing body hair. The laser emits a light beam that penetrates the skin, weakening the hair structure in its active growth phase and destroying its follicle.

Does laser hair removal provide permanent results?

Laser hair removal allows for the complete and permanent removal of hair from a selected body area. The effect of smooth skin lasts for many years (the exact duration is individual). However, the procedure must be repeated several times at appropriate intervals to destroy all hair follicles. Maintenance treatments are also recommended, usually once a year.

Preparation

One month before the treatment, do not perform peeling or remove hair with wax, epilators, or tweezers (shaving is allowed).

Post-treatment care

After the laser hair removal treatment, avoid sunbathing for about 7-10 days.

Contraindications to the procedure

The contraindications to undergoing laser hair removal include:

• pregnancy,
• fresh tan (including tanning beds),
• use of retinol creams,
• taking medications or herbs that cause photosensitivity, retinoids, blood-thinning medications,
• high propensity for hyperpigmentation, keloids,
• active skin infections,
• diseases: vitiligo, psoriasis, diabetes, epilepsy,
• photodermatoses,
• bullous skin diseases,
• pacemaker,
• recent surgical procedures.

For blond, gray, and red hairs, the effectiveness of the procedure is reduced.

• Within the package, you can undergo 3 treatments. Each treatment lasts about 30 minutes.
