Pancreas package

This test package is designed for individuals who want to thoroughly assess the health of their pancreas – an organ essential for digestion and glucose level regulation.

What do we test?

• Pancreatic amylase and lipase – enzymes whose levels help assess pancreatic function and determine whether there is acute or chronic inflammation.
• CA 19-9 antigen – a tumor marker that may indicate pancreatic cancer or other gastrointestinal tumors.

This package provides valuable insights into pancreatic function and can help in the early detection of abnormalities.

When should you take these tests?

• As a preventive measure if you want to monitor your health status.
• If you experience symptoms suggesting pancreatic issues, such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, bloating, a feeling of fullness in the upper abdomen, or unexplained weight loss.
• If you have been previously diagnosed with pancreatic diseases such as chronic inflammation, cysts, or tumors, to monitor disease progression.

Tested Material:
The tested material is serum from blood.

Preparation for the Test:
The blood sample should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 10-12 hours after the last meal, in the morning between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM.

Test Results Availability:
Test results are available within 1 business day on the website. They can also be collected in person at the ClinicLab Collection Point at Ogrodowa 31 Street in Warsaw.
