Sebastian Bałasz, MD, PhD, is a graduate of Wrocław Medical University. He specialises in general surgery, within which he performs a full range of services.

He gained his qualifications at the Department of General and Vascular Surgery of the Research and Development Centre, Provincial Specialist Hospital, Wrocław; in addition, he worked, among others, at the Department of General Surgery at St Jadwiga Provincial Specialist Hospital in Trzebnica, Provincial Specialist Hospital in Legnica and the County Hospitals in Świdnica, Brzeg, Kluczbork (Opolskie Voivodeship) and Rawicz (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship).

He has co-authored a number of scientific publications, i.e., “The influence of the metalloproteinases MMP-2 and MMP-9 on the development of abdominal aortic aneurysms in own material” and “The role of osteopontin in cardiovascular disease”, which earned him a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree.

The doctor is also involved in dental surgery and aesthetic medicine, including performing treatments with hyaluronic acid, Botox, platelet-rich plasma and autogenous fibrin.
