Product description

Are you sure that all naevi on your skin, especially moles, are harmless? Skin cancer can develop from any of them. In 40% of cases, melanoma, an extremely malignant one, arises from an existing pigmented lesion. That's why you need to keep your marks under control and have them checked by a dermatologist –preferably every six months. Only a specialist, using a video dermatoscope, can assess whether the naevus on your skin poses a risk or a real threat to your health – or is just a mole.

Benefit from the "Naevi under Control" package

A dermatologist will look at moles all over the body, and those selected for detailed evaluation will be examined with a videodermatoscope. This diagnostic device helps to assess the naevi and moles at up to 70-200x magnification. The dermatoscope records their images digitally. With such images, it is possible to compare the appearance of naevi at the next appointment and monitor a particular skin lesion over time.

Who should regularly examine naevi?

Get your marks examined, if:

  • you have a fair complexion: fair skin, blond hair,
  • you get sunburned easily,
  • you have numerous pigmented naevi of different shapes,
  • someone in your family suffered from skin cancer or melanoma.

Skin lesions that must be checked

See a dermatologist as soon as possible if you have a naevus that:

  • has significantly expanded, changed its shape or colour,
  • has started to itch, hurt, bleed,
  • has scabs.

Don't take any chances if you notice such changes. Don't hesitate to make an appointment. In the case of melanoma, prompt diagnosis and treatment give up to a 97% chance of a complete cure. Every year melanoma is detected in 3,500 Poles. Nearly one in three patients dies because they seek specialist help too late.

If you don't observe alarming changes, it doesn't mean there is no risks at all. It is a good idea to have your doctor look at your moles and birthmarks and determine the frequency of check-ups.

Use the "Naevi under Control" package and examine your skin with a video dermatoscopeThe package is available in:
