The soybean test is a blood allergy test. The test for
soy allergy is determined by Glycine allergen.
The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is
performed when an allergy to soy is suspected. The advantage of
of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines
antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used
also for qualification for soy allergy desensitization.
