Purpose of the Test:

Thin-layer cytology (LBC) combined with HPV testing is the best method for detecting precancerous changes and cervical cancer. The additional qualitative test covering 14 high-risk HPV genotypes detects the most common high-risk types. The test identifies cancerous cells among the epithelial cells of the cervical canal and ectocervix, as well as detects the genetic material of HPV in the patient's body and determines the genotype of the identified virus.

NOTE: The sample for this test must be collected by a gynecologist or a midwife.
