Thyroid under control

The thyroid gland plays a very important role in our body. It is responsible for hormonal balance, metabolism as well as the functioning of the nervous, digestive and reproductive systems. Moreover, it influences body temperature, mood, as well as the function of the heart, muscles and intestines.

Constant fatigue, drowsiness, skin dryness, a feeling of cold, increased perspiration (sweating) and depression hardy ever make us suspect that the underlying cause might be thyroid disorders.
