graduated from the Medical Academy in Poznań. From 1999-2009, he was the physician for the Polish national field hockey team, and since 2002, he has been the main advisor to the European Hockey Federation (EHF). He also collaborated with the Polish Olympic Committee, and in 2000 at the Sydney Olympics, he was the chief physician for the Polish field hockey team. He has operated on many athletes, including the top marathon runner Henryk Szost, and has also worked with the two-time world silver medalist in pole vaulting, Monika Pyrek. Since March 2016, he has been the head of the medical staff for the Polish men's handball team. He was the team physician during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
