Clinical significance
Chlamydia trachomatis is the most common sexually transmitted bacterium worldwide. The disease most commonly affects young women and men between the ages of 19 and 25. In most women it is asymptomatic, and lack of treatment can lead to many dangerous complications. In Poland, Chlamydia trachomatis most often causes inflammation and lesions of the genital area and lower sections of the urinary tract. Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonorrhea gonorrhoeae, gonococcus) is the etiological agent of sexually transmitted gonorrhea. Gonorrhea is an acute or chronic purulent infection usually affecting the lower sections of the urinary - genital drós: the urethra in men and the urethra and cervical canal in women, as well as the anus or throat. It can cause perianal conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivitis in newbornsów and vulvovaginitis in girls. The use of RT-CR methods allows for rapid diagnosis and a result within hours.
