Breast ultrasound is safe and painless. It allows a precise assessment of the structure of the breast, the milk ducts, and also the connective tissue. During the ultrasound examination, the axillary fossa is also checked to examine the lymph nodes with a high degree of accuracy.

At the MMl Medical Centre, the doctor performs a thorough ultrasound examination. If any abnormalities are detected, the patient is referred for further diagnostics. Please note: if a cancer is detected at an early stage, it is more likely to be cured – so it is very important to be examined regularly.
