The diagnosis includes three stool samples collected from three consecutive bowel movements. The material undergoes immunoenzymatic, microscopic, and macroscopic analyses optimizing the diagnosis of gastrointestinal parasites. The test detects protozoan cysts, nematode eggs, tapeworms, flukes, hookworms, amoebae, and coccidia. Each sample is individually analyzed. The applied methods include flotation, sedimentation, decantation, and smears according to Kato and Miura. Detected parasites: Human roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), Intestinal Giardia (Giardia intestinalis), Threadworm (Strongyloides stercoralis), Blastocystis (Blastocystis hominis), Whipworm (Trichiuris trichiura), Hookworm (Ancylostoma duodenale), Armed tapeworm (Taenia solium), Unarmed tapeworm (Taenia saginata), Dwarf tapeworm (Hymenolepsis nana), Dog tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum), Broad tapeworm (Diphyllobothrium latum), Cryptosporidium (Cryptosporidium spp.), Liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica), Intestinal fluke (Fasciolopsis buski), Entamoeba (Entamoeba histolytica), Other (rare) parasites detected in the examined sample.
