Rehabilitation - what is it?
A sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise or, on the contrary, activity undertaken without proper preparation, contribute to back and joint pain. Some of the most common ailments that patients report to a rehabilitator are: lower or upper spine pain, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain or tennis elbow. Most people experience them at least once in their entire life. They most often occur in middle-aged people, but they can also affect younger people, and even adolescents and children.
If you feel pain in your back or joints in the musculoskeletal system (shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle, wrist, hip, etc.), you have suffered an injury, surgery or orthopedic procedure, consider consulting a rehabilitator. In many cases, pain relief and faster recovery after surgery will be provided by consultation with a rehabilitator, therapy and regular exercises, if recommended by a specialist.
What does a visit to a rehabilitator look like?

Match your outfit to the nature of the visit. Make sure it is comfortable, loose, does not restrict freedom of movement and does not prevent the examination. If you have medical documentation regarding the parts of your body - your back or joints - where you experience pain, take it with you. Make sure that the documentation is organized and as complete as possible, so that the rehabilitator will be able to collect more information about your ailments and better respond to your health needs. If you want to find a specialist who speaks a foreign language, we recommend reading the profile of a given doctor. Just click on the specialist's name from the list of schedules above and go to the doctor's broader description, which will include information about foreign languages. If the doctor has no visible additional languages, it means that he only speaks Polish. |
