Krzysztof Boczar, MD, PhD

Krzysztof Boczar, MD, PhD, is an internist and cardiologist. He specialises in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the internal organs in adults. He studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Lublin, where he also was awarded the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2017. He completed his specialisation in cardiology in 2021. He started his professional practice as an intern at the Independent Public Hospital No. 4 in Lublin, followed by a residency at the Clinical Department of Electrocardiology at the John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Krakow, where he is currently specialising in cardiology. He is continually expanding his competences and qualifications by taking part in numerous courses on, among other things, the implantation and programming of pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation systems and the prevention of sudden cardiac death. He is also a co-author of more than 30 scientific publications in international medical journals on, among others, the management of patients with endocavitary leads, permanent cardiac pacing, as well as the treatment of complications of permanent cardiac pacing.
