FemtoLASIK – the latest Lasik technique, powered by two lasers

The FemtoLASIK laser vision correction procedure combines the power of two lasers: femtosecond and excimer.

The femtosecond laser allows the refractive surgeon to create a thin corneal flap, 90-130 μm thick. This process is performed under a microscope, taking just a few seconds, with laser operation additionally controlled by a computer.

The femtosecond laser enables the surgeon to create a corneal flap with individually selected parameters, such as size and shape.

The excimer laser reshapes the cornea. This process is pre-programmed according to each patient’s individual needs.

By combining the two lasers, the surgeon can very precisely tailor the procedure parameters, making the method even less invasive than previous techniques. As a result, the procedure is safer, with a very short recovery time. Patients typically regain sharp vision just a few hours after the procedure.

The price listed applies to Laser Vision Correction for 1 eye using the FemtoLasik method.

1. Complete the qualification exam for Laser Vision Correction at your selected Dom Lekarski Medical Center. The qualification exam is not included in the procedure price.
2. Add the Laser Vision Correction service recommended by the doctor during your qualification exam to your cart and proceed with payment.
3. You will receive a confirmation via the email address provided in your order.
4. To schedule your procedure, wait for contact from the Hospital Care Coordinator. The Coordinator will reach out to provide additional information and arrange a convenient date for the procedure.

Important: Results from qualification exams conducted at Dom Lekarski for Laser Vision Correction are valid for up to 6 months from the exam date. The procedure must be performed within this period, or the exams will need to be repeated.

Important Information

1. Before the procedure, a qualification exam at Dom Lekarski for Laser Vision Correction is required. Patients booking the qualification exam are asked not to wear hard contact lenses for 3 weeks prior to the exam, and soft contact lenses for one week prior.
2. If you qualify for the procedure, you can contact the Hospital Care Coordinator to schedule the procedure or for any additional organizational questions related to the upcoming procedure.
3. Before the procedure, patients must sign a contract and pay the full amount for the procedure.

Do not wear soft contact lenses for a week before the procedure.
Do not wear hard contact lenses for 3 weeks before the procedure.
