Magdalena Roessler-Górecka, MD, PhD

She graduated with honors with a master's degree in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Warsaw in 2005, and then in 2012 she completed postgraduate studies in clinical psychology at the Academy of Special Pedagogy. She passed the state examination and obtained the title of specialist clinical psychologist in 2014, after completing a four-year specialization training in clinical neuropsychology. In 2016, she started a doctoral program and defended her doctoral thesis in 2023.

She worked for over 12 years as a senior assistant at the 2nd Neurological Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, gaining experience in comprehensive diagnosis and neuropsychological therapy of adult patients with brain injuries such as strokes, head traumas, brain tumors, and neuroinfections.

Her professional interests also include dementia syndromes of various etiologies, ADHD in adults, cognitive function disorders in epilepsy, depression, and schizophrenia, changes in memory function associated with physiological aging, and dementia prevention. She is the author of many lectures, workshops, and scientific publications. She is involved in projects related to the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools in the field of neuropsychology. She is also a member of the Polish Psychological Association and regularly participates in conferences to continuously develop her skills.
