Małgorzata Łopatka graduated from the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum and then completed her specialization in dermatology and venereology. She gained professional experience working in dermatology clinics in Poland and abroad. She diagnoses and treats skin diseases in children and adults. Her particular professional interests include scalp and hair diseases, acne, and seborrheic dermatitis. She also diagnoses and treats sexually transmitted diseases. Dr Łopatka is also interested in the diagnosis of pigment disorders. In this area, she collaborated with the Institute of Forensic Research on studies of pigmentation genes and the genetic basis of androgenetic alopecia in women and men.
