Vaccinations at the Damian Medical Center are subject to an additional fee and are not included in the visit. After vaccination, we issue the International "Yellow Book" - a vaccination document (International Certificates of Vaccination).
If you want to find a specialist who speaks a foreign language, we recommend reading the profile of a given doctor. Just click on the specialist's name from the list of schedules above and go to the doctor's broader description, which will include information about foreign languages. If the doctor has no visible additional languages, it means that he only speaks Polish.
How to prepare for the visit?
In order for a travel medicine doctor to properly select vaccinations for your holiday, you must provide the following information during your visit:
- travel route,
- departure date,
- the country that is the destination,
- what will the rest look like - will it only be spending time in a hotel, at the seaside, or will it be mountain trips, diving, visiting caves,
- recent illnesses or chronic conditions,
- list of medications taken on a regular basis,
- previously received tropical vaccinations,
- antimalarial drugs used in the past,
- allergies,
- pregnancy or planned breastfeeding while traveling,
It is best to visit a travel medicine doctor at least 6-8 weeks before your planned departure. This period allows you to plan optimal prevention and carry out mandatory and recommended vaccinations.
It is worth seeking advice from a tropical disease specialist even before a last-minute trip.
