Trace elements are compounds present in our body in minute amounts. Their presence affects the risk of developing cancers (including malignant ones such as colorectal cancer or lung cancer); however, this impact depends on many factors, including their levels in the blood. That is why it is worth regularly monitoring your health and checking the levels of trace elements in your body. This is made possible by the POLMED Oncopackage.
Package Scope:
The Oncopackage allows for the assessment of blood concentrations of six trace elements, including:
- selenium (Se);
- zinc (Zn);
- copper (Cu);
- arsenic (As);
- cadmium (Cd);
- lead (Pb).
IMPORTANT!
For three days before the test, refrain from consuming sea fish, seafood, and their processed products.
Additional Information
The test package is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. You can take the tests at the POLMED Medical Center selected during purchase. No appointment is necessary – simply visit during the working hours of the collection point.
The prices of test packages are already calculated, taking into account a discount for purchasing the entire set of tests. Therefore, they are not subject to additional discounts available to patients using POLMED medical care under insurance policies and individual or corporate medical packages.
