ANCAS, which are detected by indirect immunofluorescence (the method with the highest sensitivity), are divided into c - ANCA (cytoplasmic) showing fluorescence of the entire cytoplasm, this type of fluorescence show mainly antibodies against proteinase 3; p-ANCA (perinuclear) showing fluorescence around the nucleus, this type is shown by antibodies directed against myeloperoxidase (MPO).
