Testing the level of IgM antibodies against chickenpox in the blood

infection.
IgM antibodies appear first in the blood after infection with the
chickenpox virus. IgM antibody levels rise and reach a
maximum value within 7-10 days after infection, then disappears
over the next few weeks.
Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by the Varicella virus
zoster. The chickenpox virus enters the human body
through the oral cavity. It multiplies in the epithelial cells of the upper respiratory tract
respiratory tract, and then with the blood it enters the
superficial parts of the skin and manifests as a vesicular
rash.
