Package Anaemia

Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels drop below normal, leading to tissue oxygen deprivation. The greater the deficiency in these parameters, the more severe the symptoms of anemia, such as fatigue, dizziness, or weakness. To accurately diagnose the cause of anemia and implement effective treatment, it is recommended to use the Anemia Package, which includes essential tests.

Product description

Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels fall below normal, leading to oxygen deficiency in body tissues. The greater the deficiency, the more pronounced the symptoms, such as fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. To properly diagnose the cause of anemia and implement effective treatment, it is worth using the Anemia Package, which includes essential tests.

The package includes:

  • Complete blood count with full leukocyte differentiation (6diff) – a basic blood test that assesses overall health, including red blood cell count, hemoglobin levels, and other blood components. This helps identify deficiencies and blood disorders.
  • Reticulocytes – immature red blood cells that indicate the body's current red blood cell production, useful in differentiating the causes of anemia.
  • Iron (Fe) – an essential element for hemoglobin synthesis, whose deficiency is one of the main causes of anemia.
  • Ferritin – a protein that stores iron; its levels reflect the body's iron reserves and help assess iron status.
  • Transferrin saturation index (TfS) – a key indicator for diagnosing iron deficiency anemia.
  • Vitamin B12 – plays a role in red blood cell production; its deficiency leads to megaloblastic anemia (pernicious anemia).
  • Folic acid (Vitamin B9) – essential for blood formation; its deficiency can result in megaloblastic anemia.

The Anemia Package helps explain the causes of chronic fatigue, weakness, heart palpitations, pale skin, and hair loss.

When should you take this test package?

  • As a preventive measure if you experience symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, pale skin, irregular heartbeat, or hair loss.
  • If you have been diagnosed with anemia and are undergoing treatment with iron supplements or B-group vitamins.
  • As a preventive measure for high-risk groups, including children, women planning pregnancy, and the elderly, who are more susceptible to developing anemia.

Regular blood tests allow for early detection of deficiencies and the implementation of appropriate actions to improve health.
