Clinical purpose

The STD Polycheck autoimmune panel is used to diagnose autoimmune diseases. The test is useful in diagnosing: systemic inflammatory diseasesób of rheumatic connective tissue (polymyositis/skórno-musculitis, systemic scleroderma and its limited form, mixed connective tissue disease, Sjögren's syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, syndromeół CREST), autoimmune systemic vasculitis (Wegener's granulomatosis, microscopic arteritis, Churg-Strauss syndrome, nodular arteritis, Goodpasturea syndrome), autoimmune thyroid diseases (autoimmune thyroiditis, Hashimoto's disease, Graves-Basedova disease) and also primary cirrhosis. In the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases, the róconcurrent determination of multiple antibodies is recommended, which provides greater diagnostic sensitivity than single determinations.
