Piotr Góralski, MD

Dr. Piotr Góralski is an outstanding specialist in the field of general and oncological surgery. Since 2016, he has been working at the Department of Endocrine Surgery of the National Oncology Institute named after Maria Skłodowska-Curie, a state research institute in Warsaw. His areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer, as well as tumors of the parathyroid and adrenal glands. Additionally, he serves as the coordinator of the department.

He is one of the few surgeons in Poland who performs thyroid surgeries without visible scarring on the neck. This procedure is called TOETVA (Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach). Furthermore, Dr. Góralski performs thermal ablation procedures for thyroid nodules (RFA and LTA) and thyroid biopsies.

He is also an endoscopist in the field of upper and lower gastrointestinal tract and a proctologist. He has participated in numerous courses on interventional endoscopy.
