Clinical significance
A test for the detection of antibodies against deaminated gliadin peptides (GAF-3X) in IgA class, pólily, by immunofluorescence, indirect method. The test is useful in the diagnosis of gluten enteropathy-sprue non-tropical (in adults), celiac disease in children, in the diagnosis of Dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring (Duhring's dermatitis herpetiformis-a form of celiac disease) and as an indicator of abnormal dietary adherence
