The strawberry allergy test is a blood allergy test
Strawberry allergy test means Fragaria allergen. The test
involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed in
case of suspected allergy to strawberries.
The advantage of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines
antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used
also for qualification for desensitization of strawberry allergy.
It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children
under the age of 4 years.
