Details of the Genetic Test for Couples Trying to Conceive – CGT Test

1. The CGT test is available in three variants: Essential, Plus, and Exome. They differ in the number of genes tested for hidden genetic mutations.
2. Only couples can participate in the genetic test for couples trying to conceive – the CGT test is for couples only. This is due to the nature of the test, whose results are presented through a comparative analysis of the patient's and partner's results.
3. Before taking the test, patients are required to have a CGT genetic consultation with a geneticist at one of the InviMed clinics or via teleconsultation.
4. The blood sample collection appointment can only be scheduled after the chosen CGT test variant has been paid for.
5. After paying for the selected test variant, please contact the InviMed helpline at 500 900 888 to express your interest in participating in the test.
6. Before the scheduled sample collection, patients will receive the required documents to complete: the CGT form, consent for the test, and a patient declaration form. Please complete and bring them on the day of the test.
7. An InviMed clinic medical staff member will contact the patients to confirm the sample collection appointment. The couple must be scheduled together.
8. The waiting time for results is approximately 6 weeks.
9. Once notified that the results are available, patients can schedule a genetic consultation to discuss the results.
10. The genetic consultation discussing the test results is included in the price of every CGT test variant.
