About the treatment

What does the treatment involve?

The treatment combines PRX-T33 peeling with microneedling, which allows for a more intensive effect on the skin and faster achievement of the desired results (compared to performing the treatments separately).

The PRX-T33 treatment is a chemical peel that stimulates fibroblast growth factors. It is especially beneficial for people who have lost facial skin tension, have scars, acne, or skin discoloration. Microneedling (micro-needle mesotherapy) is a minimally invasive treatment that introduces active substances deep into the skin and stimulates its natural regenerative processes. It results in the reduction of wrinkles, skin firming, and improvement of its color.

How to prepare for the treatment?

A consultation with a cosmetologist, dermatologist, or aesthetic medicine doctor is recommended before the treatment. It is a good idea to bring current blood test results to the appointment (especially important are: complete blood count, iron, ferritin).

Does the treatment hurt?

The microneedling treatment may cause discomfort, but is generally not described by patients as painful. Right after the treatment, the skin will be red and sensitive to touch; it may slightly peel. These issues usually subside after 1-2 days. You can return to daily activities immediately after the treatment, although it is advisable to avoid UV exposure.

What are the contraindications to the treatment?

Contraindications to the treatment include: active skin infections (e.g., herpes), pregnancy, breastfeeding, cancer diseases, taking blood-thinning medications, hemophilia.
