Intramuscular/subcutaneous injection
Intramuscular injections, or injections, are a method of drug administration that has many advantages - they are characterized by a low burden on the gastrointestinal tract and a relatively quick time of action of the administered substance. The procedure is carried out by qualified medical personnel.
Intramuscular injections are performed into large, well-vascularized and poorly innervated muscles such as the gluteus medius muscle, quadriceps of the thigh, or triceps brachii muscle.
Subcutaneous injections are performed in the shoulder, abdomen, thigh or shoulder blade area.
Note that the price does not include the drug. Drug should be purchased by the patient on his own in accordance with medical recommendations. Medical personnel performing the procedure should be informed of any medical recommendations for the procedure.
