Antibodies against deamidated gliadin peptides IgG (GAF-3X)
Gliadin is a fraction of gluten, a protein present in cereals, including wheat. Testing for antibodies directed against it is part of the diagnostics for detecting celiac disease.

Test involving the detection of antibodies to deaminated gliadin peptides (GAF-3X), IgG class, plly, by immunofluorescence, indirect method.
The test is useful in the diagnosis of gluten enteropathy-sprue non-tropical (in adults), celiac disease in children, in the diagnosis of Dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring (herpetic dermatitisry Duhring’a - skrna form of celiac disease) and as an indicator of abnormal dietary adherence.
