RSV is a syncytial respiratory epithelial virus. It causes respiratory tract infections in infants and children under the age of 5. The test involves detecting RSV in a throat swab.

Evaluation of the purity degree of vaginal smear consists in assessing the bacterial flora in the material taken from the vagina. The evaluation allows to detect the ongoing infection and implement treatment.
