Blood test package with home sampling.

Who is the Stress Test Package for?

It is for anyone who feels they are functioning under excessive stress. In particular, the package can benefit people dealing with personal or professional problems, struggling with changes, traumatized individuals, as well as students, parents, business owners, or those in managerial roles.

When to take the stress test?

You can take the tests even if you don’t observe any worrying symptoms. However, you should particularly consider them if you experience signs of stress, such as:

  • pain symptoms,
  • a feeling of tightness in the throat,
  • excessive sweating,
  • fainting,
  • dizziness and headaches,
  • lowered immunity,
  • lowered libido or erection problems,
  • anxiety,
  • dry mouth,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chronic diarrhea,
  • ringing in the ears,
  • trembling limbs.

Why take the Stress Test Package?

When stress accompanies you for a long time, common recommendations such as proper sleep, diet, and physical activity may not be enough. Besides worsening well-being, manifested by headaches or muscle pain, your body may begin to develop inflammation, leading to numerous diseases, including cardiovascular conditions.
Blood tests in the package will also help differentiate whether hormonal imbalances are contributing to the tension. Sometimes, abnormal hormone levels can intensify anxiety and mood swings similar to those resulting from emotional strain caused by stress.
The tests in the package will help your doctor assess the impact of stress on your body and guide the next steps for your treatment.

How to prepare for blood tests?

  • Schedule the test in the morning between 7-10 AM.
  • Fast for at least 12 hours before the test.
  • Ensure you are well-rested and relaxed before the test. Avoid intense workouts and reduce stressors.
  • Avoid alcohol for 2-3 days before the test.
  • If you take any medications or supplements, consult your doctor to check if they might affect the results.
  • Avoid stressful situations and intense physical activity before the test.
  • Don’t change your diet or eating habits before the test. Avoid overeating or fasting.
  • Avoid sexual activity a few days before the test.
  • Drink a glass of water 30 minutes before the test to ease blood drawing.

Full list of tests in the package:

  • Complete blood count (CBC)

A general health assessment test. During heavy stress, some parameters, like leukocyte levels, may change.

  • Iron

The main component of hemoglobin, responsible for oxygen transport to tissues.

  • Folic acid

Essential for the proper formation of red blood cells. It also participates in the production of neurotransmitters and proteins.

  • Vitamin B12

One of the most important nutrients, necessary for the nervous, cardiovascular, and digestive systems to function properly.

  • Magnesium

Adequate magnesium levels reduce stress and anxiety. Magnesium helps in serotonin production and inhibits the release of catecholamines (adrenaline, noradrenaline), which are stress hormones.

  • Total calcium

One of the main minerals affecting mental health. Its deficiency can be the result of severe stress.

  • Vitamin D metabolite 25(OH)

Involved in regulating autoimmune and metabolic processes. Its deficiency may cause depression and worsen stress.

  • Cortisol

Stress hormone. Low cortisol levels may indicate an insufficient response to stress.

  • Testosterone

A hormone synthesized by the sex organs and adrenal glands. Prolonged stress leads to reduced testosterone levels, which can cause lowered libido, erection problems in men, and contribute to fertility issues, mood disorders, and anxiety.

  • TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone)

A hormone produced by the pituitary gland. It helps assess thyroid function.

  • FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone)

One of the hormones whose abnormal levels may lead to infertility in both men and women.

  • LH (Luteinizing hormone)

LH testing is done in cases of suspected gonadal failure, fertility disorders, or pituitary tumors.

  • Estradiol

Used in diagnosing hormonal imbalances.

  • Prolactin

This test is used to evaluate the cause of infertility and low testosterone levels in men. Stress may moderately increase prolactin levels.

Factors that can influence test results

  • Diet.
  • Physical activity before the test.
  • Alcohol, smoking, and other stimulants.

Interpreting blood test results

The package includes basic tests that assess overall health and allow evaluation of the impact of stress on the body. The tests measure vitamin and mineral levels that reduce anxiety and help alleviate stress (magnesium, vitamin D). This package also includes hormone level tests that play a key role in stress mechanisms. Additionally, the package allows you to monitor estradiol and hormones FSH and LH, which can help identify hormonal imbalances contributing to fertility issues.

With this package, you get a free consultation for your results
