Women's Health Test Package with consultation - why should you do it?
With these tests, you can identify health problems such as thyroid, liver, kidney, heart, or bone diseases, hormonal imbalances, deficiencies, and distinguish them from temporary dips in well-being. It’s essential to consult a specialist for the interpretation of your results. Trying to understand all the medical terminology on your own might lead to incorrect conclusions. Instead of wasting time and energy, let the Health Advisor at uPacjenta analyze your results thoroughly and answer your questions. They will also guide you on how to correct any deficiencies and suggest lifestyle changes for better health. If necessary, they may recommend further diagnostic tests or refer you to the appropriate doctor.
How to prepare for the tests?
- Get your blood drawn in the morning.
- Fast for 12 hours before the test (no food, but water is allowed).
- Avoid excessive physical exertion immediately before the test.
- Refrain from alcohol 2-3 days before the test.
- Don’t make drastic changes to your diet (don’t overeat or fast).
- Try to be relaxed and well-rested before the blood draw.
- Consult with your doctor about any medications or supplements you are taking.
- Drink a glass of water 30 minutes before the blood draw.
- It is recommended to take the tests after your menstrual period. Hormonal tests like estradiol can be performed at any time during your cycle, though the result should be correlated with the day of your cycle when the test was taken. Estradiol levels fluctuate throughout the cycle, so the normal ranges vary depending on your menstrual phase. If specific disorders are suspected, the test may be recommended during a particular phase, as determined by your doctor.
