How to prepare for the test?

The test should be taken on an empty stomach (drinking a small amount of water is acceptable) and before taking medication, unless otherwise instructed by a doctor. The last meal of the previous day should be eaten no later than 6:00 p.m. It is recommended to draw blood in the morning, between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. If you are taking biotin, it is advisable to take the last dose at least 8 h before taking blood. Remember to bring a container with a urine sample - a morning sample should be provided for the test.
